HOW WE STARTED 

     The power behind the music is Carl Lauderman and Lourdes Maria, the heart of Forte Music and Arts Academy. The school first started as Fortepiano Music Studio in a small room in a dance school that was previously known as Peaches School of Dance and Music and now known as M.I.A. Dance Factory in North Miami Beach. After our room was too small for our growing music students, we moved to a larger storefront location in North Miami Beach where we expanded our offerings of instruments.  After that, we decided to relocate to the heart of Aventura, North Miami Beach, and Sunny Isles and renamed our school Forte Music and Arts Academy.

Forte Music and Arts Academy is Miami's premier school of music that provides a range of music programs for preschoolers, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Our goal is to cultivate the personal growth of each of our students that transfers into life skills. We promise to do our best to provide a warm family-like and friendly environment to students of all ages where they can experience success and accomplishment through positive music instruction, personal attention, and high-quality customer service.
