Elyza GuzmanVoice, Piano
It's nice to meet you! My name is Elyza Guzman. I'm a musician, actor, and educator based in Miami, FL.
I have always been told that as a baby, I'd sing myself to sleep. My earliest memories are of belting Hannah Montana in my bedroom, or pretending I were a Disney Princess and reenacting all of my favorite scenes by heart. My first official step into the performing arts was in the seventh grade. I played Ursula in my middle school's production of The Little Mermaid JR. I realized in that moment that I had found the thing that gave my life a purpose. Since then, I've never stopped persuing a career in the arts. After graduating high school, I studied musical theatre for a while at Emerson College, located in Boston, Masachusetts. I am currently a piano and voice teacher in Miami, FL. |
David Neira
Percussion, Guitar, Piano, Bass GuitarI grew up in South America, where my musical journey began with the rich traditions of Ecuadorian folk music. From an early age, I was drawn to sound and rhythm, and by the time I was 14, I was already playing in bands. Between the ages of 14 and 19, I immersed myself in music, learning multiple instruments empirically—by ear, through experience, and through constant performance.
My passion for music eventually led me to the United States, where I enrolled at Miami Dade College to formally study music and sound engineering. I pursued an Associate in Arts degree, expanding my knowledge through piano and guitar studies. During my final year, I made the bold decision to switch majors—becoming the only student to do so at that stage. That experience challenged me, but it also pushed me to grow, and I gained more knowledge and perspective than I ever expected. In 2017, I began working within the Miami-Dade public school system, sharing my musical knowledge with students. A year later, I joined Guitar Center, where I further developed my teaching career by offering lessons in piano, guitar, bass, and ukulele. Since then, teaching has remained a central part of my life, allowing me to inspire others while continuing to evolve as a musician. Throughout my career, I have toured across South America and parts of Europe, performing in festivals and on the streets—experiences that shaped my identity as an artist. I have also been involved in professional recording projects, contributing to albums released in both CD and vinyl formats. Today, I remain active in music, continuing to record, compose, and explore new creative directions. My journey is rooted in passion, shaped by experience, and driven by a constant desire to grow and share music with others. |
