A: Classes in piano, voice, guitar, violin, electric bass, and ukulele are available
Q: Do you accept beginners
A: Yes, I accept students who are beginners. Many students who start music lessons have never played an instrument
Q: How long are the lessons?
A: Lessons are available by appointment in slots of 30 minutes or 60 minutes once or twice a week
Q: How many times a week are the lessons?
A: Lessons are scheduled once or twice per week.
Q: How much are the lessons?
A: Lessons are charged as a monthly tuition that remains the same every month. Tuition is paid in advance month to month. Contact us for current tuition pricing.
Q: What is included in the monthly tuition?
A: Monthly tuition includes one or two lessons per week. There are 4 to 8 lessons per month.
Q: Where do you teach lessons?
A: Currently, music lessons at Forte Music and Arts Academy take place at 17023 W. Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach. Classes are also taught in the homes of students.
Q: Do you offer in-home lessons?
A: Yes, a limited amount of lessons are also taught in the homes of students in the areas of Northeast Miami-Dade County and Southeast Broward County.
Q: What time during the day are lessons available?
A: Most students take lessons during the afternoon and evening hours. Other students take lessons during the morning and early afternoon hours.
Q: When is the earliest my child can start?
A: A child as young as 3 years old may start with music lessons. Piano and Violin Classes are available for preschoolers. Each child is different. Some kids benefit from starting at such a young age while it is better for other kids to start at 7 or 8 years.
Q: What is the difference between private and semiprivate lessons?
A: The lessons differ according to the number of students in the class. Private lessons are for 1 student and semiprivate lessons include 2-5 students. Classes can be taken with a friend, sibling, family member, or another student.
Q: Should my child take private or semiprivate lessons?
A: Children have more fun and learn best in semiprivate lessons. Children who learn together also motivate each other to practice and enjoy learning about music. Many students, however, appreciate the private lessons because students get individual attention.
